045 - Moo-Ney the Flying Cow

What is Moo-Ney??

She is a Breyer Cow model (traditional 1/9 scale) - actually closer to 1/6 as she is larger than she should be in scale to the horse models. She has had her horns moved from striaght forward to up, her broken tail fixed, her hooves clovened out properly for a cow, and she has added WINGS! Wings were made by Kathleen Moody.

Wings were bolted on then sculpted with keypoxy putty to keep them in place. Moo-Ney was painted in black and white Holstein colors, tail hair added to her tail and pink on her udder and under belly. She has tri-color eyes and pink nose.

She is # 045 on my 100 art list for the Moon (because she has a moon on her face) and because of the tale the cow jumped over the moon!
