Breyer G3 Stablemate Friesian customized by me to a black (real original I know) Friesian gelding. Done in PASTELS and PRISMA-COLORED PENCILS.

He was stripped, primered and then done in gray and black pastels for layers of true rich color- he's beautiful in real life! White hairs added in color pencil and then gone over in black pastel to give the image of hair texture. Hooves, mane and tail darkened with black acrylic paint.

#059 for FOOD - why? because every time I started to work on him my stomach growled!!

with Easy off oven cleaner - spray it on the model and let it sit for 4-5 hours and scrub with a hard sponge. peels old paint off quite nicely!

Beautiful. Many years ago I has two friesian horses. They are so beautiful and they have so good characters :heart:
